MemorandumTO: Ajilon Consulting and Communications Management FROM: Roy Haggerty, President & CEO Ajilon Consulting & Communications DATE: June 15, 2004 RE: Announcement
Last week Jay Hufnagel, President & COO of Ajilon Communications, announced his retirement at the end of this year. I want to thank Jay for both managing Ajilon Communications through a period of tremendous growth in the 1990's and through the difficult economic downturn that has impacted the Communications industry over the last few years. Thanks to Jay, Ajilon Communications is positioned to be one of the premier Communications companies as the market improves. I am pleased to announce Dan Sims has accepted the position of President & COO of Ajilon Communications and will succeed Jay beginning January 1, 2005. Effective July 1, 2004, Dan will transfer from Ajilon Consulting to Ajilon Communications and begin the transition of responsibilities with Jay. Dan and Jay will work closely together during this critical transition period. Dan Sims has been an employee of Ajilon Consulting for 24 years, beginning with technical assignments as a project manager at Ford Motor Company and Chrysler Corporation in Detroit, Michigan. He held management positions with the Ajilon Consulting office in Detroit from 1983 through 1992, when he was promoted to District Manager of the Minneapolis office. Dan assumed regional responsibility for the Northwest region, which included offices in Chicago, Minneapolis, Seattle and Portland, and was promoted to Vice President in 1995. Since 1999, Dan has served in the capacity of Executive Vice President and General Manager for the Southeast region. Please join me in thanking Jay for his contribution to Ajilon Communication's success and congratulate Dan on his promotion.
