Dear Associates,

People are our most important asset. Your safety is our greatest responsibility. Safety for our employees and clients’ premises and equipment should be our highest priority.

Our industry is unique. We do not directly control the workplace of our employees. Therefore, we must properly select train, and equip our employees before assigning them to a job. We must also choose our clients carefully in order to ensure that our employees have a safe and healthful work place with adequate supervision.

Increased accidents have resulted in rising insurance costs for our company. This major expense subtracts from our profits without adding anything of benefit. Most accidents can be avoided with proper foresight. We all need to become more aware of how we can prevent such accidents.

All staff members should review these procedures frequently and observe them carefully. Management is accountable for implementing and maintaining these procedures.

This policy is the first step toward creating a safe work environment. With your active participation, we can succeed in reducing accidents and lowering insurance costs.
